my opinion one of the greatest games I've played in a long time if you haven't played it.... you should you are missing out big time
little side note for those who have played the game there is ALOT of mad max refrences anyone one else notice that?

I'm still trying to get my PC to work properly with it. I get a lot of black screens with it. What I have played has been great though.... blowing up Megaton is awesome.

I've never beat it, nor Oblivion. Too free and open; I get bored after a dozen hours of gameplay.

Oblivion did a decent job of directing you from quest to quest, I thought.

Not enough action. Crysis, on the other hand, is the perfect game for me. Hell, Crysis Warhead's even better. You have beautiful graphics and animation; a great storyline; amazing gameplay (Nanosuit = best thing ever); tons of freedom as to how you play provided by the Nanosuit and the sandbox gameplay; cool weapons with loads of customization (If you can't customize your weapon in an FPS it's no fun at all); great sound, music, all that. It has everything for me and allows me enough freedom to keep playing it, but not enough freedom to bore me out of my mind and get me lost.

I though fallout 3 was well done but I must agree that I never did finish the game either. I was near the end but other things just keep getting in the way

Great game indeed. I finished it, and then loaded up a previous save so I could explore some more. When you finish the game there's no going back, not even after the text.

I still haven't beaten it, I just wander EVERYWHERE and get so distracted

Same here, Raast. I used to do the same thing in Oblivion as well - it's very much a sandbox environment and you can have a ton of fun in the Fallout 3 world without even doing the main quest.
