An urgent summons.

[Norko]

*Sitting in the cockpit of his starfighter, Norko takes a look at the space around him, there wasn't much to see except for some planets in the distance. one of wich was Talus, the planet to wich he was summoned by his lord and leader: Mandalore Heimdall Surtr.

not much time has gone by since the announcement of an alliance between the republic and his clan: the champions of mandalore. Norko wondered why they would reconcile themselves with the republic, because of all the leaks of security the republic had in their last war with the sith empire, wich they had practically lost because of the failures the jedi made.

Somehow Norko wasn't glad they would share their allegiance with the republic now, but on the other hand he trusted the strength and wisdom of Mandalore and thereby the republic also.

Coming closer to the planet Talus, he used his long-range commlink to communicate with the mandalorian base down on the planet by means of a secure channel, he said through the commlink*

"Mandalorian base, this is Nork, Coming in for a landing, I'm sending you my security clearance code, over"

*with that said he put in his personnal security clearance code on his communication system and waited for the reaction from the base.... the voice of a man called through the commlink*

"this is Mandalorian base, Nork you have clearance to land"

*Nork didn't react to this and prepared for landing...

a few hours later Nork landed his Starfighter in the small hangar linked to the base, When he stepped out of his ship a man in mandalorian armour stepped towards him, Nork looked at the man who said*

"You're late Nork, you should've been here a week earlier"

*Nork sighed and got his equipment out of his ship and says back*

"I ran into some people who called themselves sith troopers trying to recrute me, It resulted in me having difficulty to leave the planet because they didn't want me to leave untill I joined them.... it took me some time yeah I know but I'm here, so please tell me where Mandalore is so I can be able to obey his summons without any further delay!"

*the mandalorian pointed at the elevator going to the sublevel, saying shortly*

"he is at the central chamber of the sublevel" "thank you" *Nork said sarcastic*

*Nork walked towards the elevator and made his way to the sublevel, upon arriving in the sublevel he walked directly to the central chambers' doors wich were made of cortosis alloy, he calmly knocked on the door, wich opened with the clicking sound of locks opening. in the chamber stood Mandalore Heimdall Surtr looking at a map of the galaxy*

*Norko put off his helmet and saluted and said respectfully*

"you summoned me, Mandalore?"

*Norko waited patiently for what his lord had to say*

[Heimdall Surtr]

Heimdall Surtr looked at Norko Vonus. What he saw was a Mandalorian, young, brash... in many ways similar to himself.

"Glad that you could finally make it," Heimdall stated.

Heimdall was staring at the galactic map, looking at the planets such as Korriban which the Sith had occupied prior to signing the treaty with the Republic. Heimdall did not trust the Sith and knew that they would strike again whenever an opportunity presented itself. He felt safe here on Talus, an inconspicuous planet within the Corellian system. Here he knew that the Champions and himself could plan an attack on the Sith to preempt an inevitable Sith strike on more Republic worlds. He sensed Norko's nobility to him and the clan, but he also sensed some mistrust in the Republic.

Heimdall said, "Norko, I know that you distrust in the Republic, and for good reason. Our ancestors fought them and lost their lives some three-hundred years ago. You must realize that a greater threat is here. The Sith, if given the opportunity, would use us to defeat the Republic. With the Republic defeated we would become their slaves, or die trying. Our former clansmen are bound to find that out the hard way."

[Norko]

*Norko listened to what Mandalore had to say and said in turn*

"With all do respect, Mandalore, I do not mistrust them for their victory on our predecessors, as you well know I wasn't always a Mandalorian, so that history isn't mine to judge"

*Norko takes a breath and then continues with*

"But I do mistrust them for their failure in the defence of their worlds, actions wich may have risked an even bigger danger than the signing of the treaty of coruscant, wich because of the sith's stupidity didn't happen... it could've been far worse"

*Norko is silent for a moment and looks at the map in the middle of the chamber, and then continues his words with*

"But the worst didn't happen, so we need them to be free wich I surely understand in your decision, I respect your decision and I will act by it... I am sure you can lead us to victory against the sith empire, together with the help of the republic"

"speaking of wich, I've seen the new elite troops that the republic has trained, they look like people who are able to fight a war, but they're still untested against the sith, so I've got my doubts, have you seen them, Mandalore?"

[Heimdall Surtr]

"No I have not, Norko," Heimdall said, "But perhaps we should go pay the Republic a visit to see these troops we will be fighting alongside."

[Norko]

*Norko creates a smile on his face, saying*

"I would surely like that, I'm very curious to see them in action"

*Norko halts his words for a moment and seems to think while looking at the starmap in the middle of the room, he says*

"but what will be our next course of action, Mandalore?"

[Heimdall Surtr]

Heimdall gazed at the Star Map. Coruscant was still a war ravaged place, buildings set ablaze from the Sith invasion. The Champions were still fortifying there location in the Tendin Vale, an area far from the relative safeguards of Nashal and Dearic on the twin world of Talus. The former Mandalorian clans from which Heimdall and his clansmen were enraged at the Champions of Mandalore. He knew that an attack by them could be imminent.

Still, Heimdall was anxious to get a look at these new troops that the Republic was fielding. He had heard that there was a Republic garrison stationed in the bustling city of Coronet, the capital of Corellia. He knew that Coronet was close enough that they could quickly return if problems were to arise.

Heimdall thought that Dax, a Jedi sent by the Republic that joined the clan, would be an invaluable asset on the trip. He sent a message on his com link for him to report immediately.

Heimdall looked at Norko and replied, "I believe it would be in our best interest to check out the Republic troops in Coronet. I have sent a message to Dax Juno, who is new among the clan. He will be joining us shortly. Do you have a ship? One of the mechanics is putting a new hyper-drive in mine."

[Norko]

*Norko watched as Mandalore Heimdall used his commlink and said in reply to the question about a ship*

"Yes, Mandalore. My ship is in the main hangar, it's only a small two-man starfighter, but it get's the job done, must I prepare her for take-off?"

[Heimdall Surtr]

Heimdall sent another to message to Daxter stating that he would be heading to Coruscant with Norko. He then turned Norko and replied, "Yes, that will be good. Let me go grab some things from my room and I will meet you in the hangar shortly."

Heimdall went to his room to grab some belongings to aid him on the trip. He packed a small but sufficient amount of Kolto in his bag and was about to leave, but an odd feeling overcame him. He looked at the chest which contained his Mandalorian Armor, made of rare Mandalorian Iron or beskar. Normally on a reconnaissance mission such as this he would not wear it to avoid the attention such an intricate suit of armor inevitably brings. Still, he felt for some reason that he would need it and strapped on the armor. He grabbed his two Mandalorian blasters and holstered them, put his helmet in his backpack, and put on a brown shawl to help conceal his armor. He then set forth to rendezvous with Norko at the hangar.

Upon entering the hangar he saw that Norko had already prepared the ship and was waiting for him outside. He looked at Norko, nodded, and boarded the ship.

[Norko]

*Norko also boarded the small two-man ship, the engines were already warm... in a few minutes after some checks, the small ship lifted off from the hangar and began burning sky... in an hour they were in deep space preparing for hyperspace travel... Norko spoke in his communicator wich linked him to the second chair behind the first (it was important to use communicaters, because of all the noise the engines make)*

"I'm putting in the coördinates for Correlia, it will take a few moments before they are punched in correctly, so do you have anything important to discuss before we go through hyperspace, Mandalore?"

*The ship made a lot of noise, it was almost a miracle that the communicators were even understandable with al the noise, this was due to that this ship was an older model of what was flying around these days*
