So I found this article on Kotaku.com (http://kotaku.com/5124078/catch-real-mexicans-in-this-real-border-crossing-game)

It talks about a website where you can sign up, and watch live feeds from cameras along the border and report anyone that is trying to cross. In the article the call it a "Game" clearly being sarcastic but I think that is exactly what this site is trying to be. So far they have caught 3 people through this.

I do not know how I feel on the matter, but I wonder if this is the first of these sites to come.

Here is a link to the site. (http://www.blueservo.net/vcw.php)

that's a pretty sinister way for catching fugitives:p
I'm not going do that, but somehow it makes me laugh:p

That's pretty rough. I mean, y'know, I'm all for having immigrants actually going through the immigration process, but I'll be skipping on this one.

I think its good for stopping drugs from crossing.

Guns are worse than drugs.

Might I ask...what is the point of this? The money spent on this could certainly be spent more wisely...

The money could be spent on highering more people to help watch and patrol, but it actually makes sense, get a bunch of people with nothing better to do and you can have people watching 24/7 reporting anything they see.

As long as we arent letting crazies and killers in, I dont mind. My lawn gets cut and my driveway gets shoveled when it snows. Time is money, they got the time, I have the money.

A win-win situation in my book.

I have to agree with Antonius on this one. I mean, I prefer they come in legally, but if there's anyone here who's convinced that illegal immigrants are a scourge that are stealing decent Americans' jobs, chew over this for a bit: When's the last time you saw a white guy in front of the Home Depot willing to work on your house for less than minimum wage?

Yeah. I'm gonna let that one sink in.

(If anyone isn't aware, that was a joke. Again, I'd like to avoid lawsuits.)

This is something I don't know anything about. Remember that I live in the Netherlands. (you know, that country which allows soft-drugs (but no guns!)) =P

Yep, the internet brought everyone together

I don't know...I still think this is pretty useless. Sure, it could work...but really, your better off spending the money on hiring guards to patrol those areas.

One: I'm not Mexican so i would never truly understand. Two: There are completely safe and legal ways of getting in the U.S. such as sneaking into Cuba and founding a boat to Miami.| C: There are too many stereotypes in this country to judge this   thts how i roll holmes

I agree with you Rynech... illegal immigrants do the jobs that no one else wants to. In a way they help the economy... just my opinion.

Tis True. Whether we like it or not, Illegal immigrants are the backbone of this country.

Maybe it ain't real at all!

Maybe's it's just a set of the border, with actors pretending to cross the border.

Seems unlikely though...

Or like my former friend, George Bush, used to say "These Mexicans arent really, Mexicans or even Mehicanos... they're terrorists from Iraq, Iran, Russia, Korea, and Jamaica."

Just know this, most of the fiber optic lines that helped the jump from 56k to Cable where done by mexicans as well. I have nothing against anyone, heck my wife is mexican. Just her family has been here for a few generations.
