So, after my many frustrations with my BlackBerry Storm, I'm going to upgrade to an Android phone. Last week I ordered the HTC Incredible from Verizon, which should be here on the 30th of this month.

I've heard many great things about the phone, and I liked the demo I had of it. Do any of you have one currently? If so, how do you like it?

I don't have Verizon, but the customers that I've worked with seem to like it really well. It's a pretty smooth operating system overall and the nice thing about android is that you can use third-party applications. For example, a friend of mine has the original NES version of the Legend of Zelda on his backflip.

That's pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing all the things that Android has to offer. I know my sisters Droid has Google Sky, which seems pretty cool.

Heck yeah, we have several demos at our store and they all have Google Sky on them. There was a guy who had an app that listens to music playing at like a bar or club or something and it grabs the name of the song, artist and album. The cell phone industry is blowing up haha.

Yeah, and Android seems to be doing a lot more than BlackBerry in terms of applications. Hopefully I can find an app that sets business and personal contacts apart - that was one thing I liked about my BlackBerry.

Although I don't really know, I'm sure you can find something that will suit your needs. In terms of the Blackberry and it's applications, it's been doing pretty horrible in that market. I think their problem may be the limitations of the screen and processor. It seems to me that the Blackberry was made for more professional use rather than entertainment value like the iPhone and Android phones.
