From what I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, these "peaceful" aliens arrive to Earth and bring us aboard their large space ship. They brain wash these people and some of the humans discover that the "V" people are nothing as they seen.
Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

That's on tonight!? Kark, gotta catch that. I loved the original and for those whom haven't seen it the Sci-fi channel has been showing them the last few days ... not sure about this, as I feel they really karked up the Battlestar Galactica remake, but I'll give it a chance out of respect for nostalgia.

I mean it wasn't too bad. Some parts of the episode were better then others. I like the whole thing how religion is being challenged when these creatures arrive.

I wasn't too impressed, if fealt like they were dashing for the big reveals so they could hurry up and get the "resistance" thing underway ... there was no sense of discovery or uncertainty - considering a good portion of their audience will have never seen the original it seems and odd creative decision. I might watch another episode, but so far, not putting it on my "must see" list.

Yea that aspect of it reallly hurt it imho. They revealed them WAY too quick. But who knows, maybe it'll turn out alright. I'm on the same boat as you though on this. Definitely not on my must see list.

I meant to catch it, but I've been so swamped with school work that I didn't have time. I'll see if I can find it on Hulu once I get these exams done.

My damn DVR box died yesterday. I wanted to see this so bad :/
Guess I'll have to wait until it hits Hulu or such. Wonder if it will be a bit more developed version of the series, example like how the new Battlestar was vs. the old one.

Aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh! The new Battlestar sucked feltercarb! They betrayed all the character concepts, reversed their stand on promises they made to the fan base, pointlessly changed the gender of good characters when there were plenty of strong female roles in the original, and more and more blah blah blah!
If if had not been BG it might have been alright - they should have just made it a stand alone sci-fi series in their own setting, rather than savage the one they were given.

Lets not turn this into a BSG war please. Cause I think the old and new one was by far some of the best sci-fi I have ever watched. I think the newer one was much better though.

Having never watched the old series, I can safely say that I loved the sci-fi channel version. It was one of my favorite shows. But I can understand the frustration of the fans of the older show when it comes to the new version. My dad being one of those fans watched all of each version and said pretty much the same Garden said, that if the new version had been its own stand alone series it would have been just as good, but he seemed to like them both besides the fact that the new version appears to be the bastard love child of the old.
*shrugs* I just love me some good sci-fi. :boba:
And I'm kind of sad that I forgot about V. Will have to look it up on the interwebs.
