[[OOC: This story takes place 4 weeks after "Meeting with Cahes," during "Taking back the Revan's Furry" and before "Two Weeks" RPs. Also a closed RP.]]
The fight on Revan's Fury had taken place without Kimes, and he was happy that he and his team weren't there. Normally he would've been angry, but had he been there it would've ruined his day even more.
Kimes, OmaCour, and 11 of his men were flying back when the fight on Revan's Fury had taken place. They were returning from a failed mission and Kimes was angered at himself for the failure.
Over a month ago, Kimes, OmaCour, and Kimes' team of 25 Mando soldiers had been hired as mercenaries by a man named D'hurh. The client claimed that Sith had come to the planet and had killed many if Kimes' Mando brothers, reading off a long list of names, each one Kimes and OmaCour had recognized when te mand read it off. The client said he had a map of where the Sith were camping out and asked if Kimes and his team could bring vengance for the dead Mandalorians. When Kimes asked why the man had picked him for the job the man said that he knew Kimes had been a Jedi and thought that he'd be perfect for the job. Kimes and his men agreed, however he wasn't entirely convinced.
Very few people knew that Kimes had been a Jedi and that information was so secret that someone wouldn't just 'find out' from someone who knew something about Kimes. It also puzzeld him why Sith would come to Mandalore just to kill Madalorians. As far as he knew, the Sith wouldn't even come near the planet because they had no interest in it.
When the team landed on the planet, D'hurh gave them a map and said that the Sith camp was about 5,000 kilometers away from the city. The team then spent the next few weeks trying to find the camp an whenever they called D'hurh for help, he just told them that the Sith liked to move a lot, and Kimes wasn't convinced at all.
It was five days prior to the fight on Revan's Fury when they found the Sith, or rather the Sith found them. But they weren't Sith.
Kimes and his team ran into a Mandalorian who seemed to be terribly injured. Kimes had one of his medics go aid the Mando and Kimes told the rest of his men to be ready as he felt that the Sith must be close. Kimes and OmaCour then approached the Mandalorian and began asking him questions.
"How long've you been out here?" Kimes asked to the wounded Mando.
"A little over an hour. Please we've got to get out of here. They're coming back and they know you're here."
"It's okay, vod. You're safe with us. The Sith won't get you."
"Sith? Sith?! Is that what D'hurh told you?"
Kimes then paused for a second. How did he know D'hurh? he thought to himself.
"How do you know D'hurh?" he asked hesitantly.
"Because he's my boss' client. So you must be Markus Kimes. Quick! Run! You've been set up!"
"By who?" Kimes asked. He was now nervous and couldn't think that he'd been set up.
Before the injured Mando could answer he was shot in the head and killed. The Mando's comlink then started to buzz. Kimes looked at OmaCour and they debated what to do. He then picked up the comlink and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Ah, Markus," the voice responded. "I'm so glad you could join us. My Mando was right. You have been set up. And you're in a lot of hurt right now. I'm true to my word, Kimes, and here's my payback."
KA-PRUSH!!!
An explosion had just gone off. Kimes and OmaCour quickly spun arround to see three dead Mando corpses burning on the ground. The rest of their men were panicking and they didn't know what to do.
"Your's Truely, vod Draco Bralor," said the comlink and it went silent.
Bralor, Kimes' old rival from Dxun who'd attempted to kill him and OmaCour, but failed. This was his second attempt, and if he didn't get moving it'd be successful too.
"It's a trap!" screamed Kimes. "We've been set up! Run boys! Run!!! Get back to the city, we've got to get out of here!"

Kimes, OmaCour, and the remaining 22 soldiers ran through the wooded area. Blaster fire could be heard trailling the soldiers. The last thing Kimes wanted was to die in the ambush and loose all his men.
I should've known better, he thought. Sith have nothing to do with Mandalorians. The have no interest for us and could care less about what we do. I can't believe we fell for Bralor's plan. That I fell for Bralor's plan. I should've known better.
"I can't believe we fell for it, verd!" OmaCour yelled to Kimes as if he'd heard Kimes' thoughts. "We gotta get outta here now, boss!"
Now that was new. OmaCour rarely called Kimes "boss" unless they were in serious trouble.
"How much longer 'till we get to the city?" Kimes yelled back. A blaster bolt just wizzed by his head and hit the tree next to him. Lucky me, he thought.
"We're going to the city?!" OmaCour then pulled out the disc, pressed a button, and the holomap appeared, showing him how much further it was from their possition until they reached the city.
"We've got another 2500 kilometers! We'll never make it! We'll all be dead!"
"Well we're already heading there! I don't know 'bout you but I sure as hell don't wanna change our plans now. I case you haven't noticed, we're being shot at."
Kimes drew his gun and began firing at the Mandos persuing his team. He'd managed to kill three of them before turning back around and following OmaCour. His comlink then began to ring.
"Who the hell is this?!"
"This is Roynt, Sarge. I've stayed behind with six men. We'll try to hold 'em off. Get back to the ship!"
"Se'cuy Roynt, and vor'e."
"You're welcome, boss."
The comlink was then cut and Kimes realized what had happened. He'd just lost another 7 men to his rival, leaving himself and OmaCour, along with 15 other soldiers. He hoped that he won't lose anymore men, but he was wrong.
******************************
After several brutal hours Kimes, OmaCour, and the remaining 15 soldiers came out of the wooded area. They had returned to the city and he was thrilled, however he was still angered that he'd lost 10 of his men to Bralor's forces.
"We're here," he proclaimed to the soldiers.
"So what now, boss?" asked Narlon.
"First things first. We're alive. Secondly we need to get back to the Acer. There's no doubt that Bralor's forces are still after us. They won't hesitate to kill us in the city. We'll need to split up. If we're in a groupd we'll be an easier target for Bralor's troops."
He then turned to some of his soldiers.
"OmaCour, Davrel, Thrux, Flunt, Colerin, Ryke, and Vysk; you're all coming with me. We'll take the long way to get back to the ship. Hoepfully Bralor's troops will target us instead." He then turned to the rest of his Mando mercs. "The rest of you will go the short way back; through the city. They're be a lot of people walking around during this time of day. It'll be harder for them to kill you. We'll meet at the ship. Let's move out boys."
Kimes, OmaCour, and his team of 6 Mando mercs began to go the long way back to the Acer while the remaining 9 soldiers bagen to head into the city. Little did they know Kimes wanted to finish a "little business" with D'hurh before they left Mandalore.

Kimes, OmaCour, and the 6 Mando mercs were taking the long way back to the Acer. It had been several hours since their encounter with Bralor and his soldiers, but they hadn't run into them since they returned to the city. Kimes was thrilled that he wasn't goin to lose any more men. Some of the men were beginning to complain why they weren't at the ship yet and Kimes just ignored them. He was more concerned with killing D'hurh then getting back to the ship; he had to make D'hurh pay for what he'd done. OmaCour then caught up with Kimes.
"Why?" he whispered to his boss.
"Why what, Jaer?" Kimes whispered back. He was unaware of what OmaCour was talking about.
"Why are we going to see D'hurh?"
"You know what he did! I need to settle this!"
"You don't need to settle anything. If you try to settle something else then more of our boys will die, ner vod."
"You let me worry about it. He killed my vod, and they were your vod aswell. Are you telling me that their deaths mean nothing?"
"Fine, you're right. I'm sorry for arguing, Sarge."
OmaCour never called Kimes by his rank unless it was a serious matter. Kimes knew what was up; OmaCour was also guilty that they'd lost 10 men, and he was just trying to make sure that the remaining soldiers didn't lose thier lives. OmaCour, as Kimes knew, was a very loyal Mando.
**********
Narlon was leading the remaining 8 soldiers back to the Acer. He was just nervous that in the huge crowd of people one of Bralor's men would recognize them and another battle would break out. Minutes later they arrived to where Jaing had landed the Acer and these thoughts left Narlon's mind. Well it's a good thing we all got back safely, he thought.
Suddenly one of the Mandos dropped on the ground and began clawing at his neck. He was shaking and looked like he was going insane. Seconds later his body stopped twitching and the Mando soldiers got nervous. One of them bent down and checked on his comrade.
"He's dead, Narlon. What are we-"
The Mando then dropped to the ground and died. Narlon looked down and saw a knife in the back of his fallen comrade.
"Run boys!" yelled Narlon. "Get onto the ship! They're back!"
*****************************
The elite team finally arrived to D'hurh's aparement, which was thankfuly near the docking bay where the Acer was.
"OmaCour; Davrel; you're coming with me." Kimes ordered. "The rest of you stand guard. We'll be right back."
The 5 Mandalorians soldiers loaded their guns and stood guard while the three soldiers entered D'hurh's apartement. Supprisingly the door was unlocked and Kimes gave out orders to his men, and they hid.
"I'll be right there!" called D'hurh. "I just have to finish some business."
When D'hurh finished he expected to see Draco Bralor in the living room to tell him that Kimes and his men were dead. Instead, D'hurh entered an empty living room and became nervous. He walked over to a desk, pull open a drawer, and pulled out a hand gun.
"Whoever you are, come out now!" he cried.
Davrel then walked out, his helmet and beskar'gam, and was unarmed. D'hurh instantly aimed his gun at Davrel's chest and spoke.
"Wh-who are you?"
"My name's Davrel and I have no conflict with you. So how 'bout you put your gun down...and we can talk about it. Sound like a deal?"
"And give me one good reason why I should do that."
A closet door then burst open and Kimes, in full beskar'gam appeared. D'hurh wizzed aroung and was horrified. he knew who it was and instatnly took aim, but missed. Kimes unsheathed his knife and stabbed D'hurh in the chest. D'hurh dropped to the ground and began gasping for breathe and was mubbling something. Kimes bent over to try an here what the man was saying.
"I-it wasn't my fault. I didn't know what Bralor wanted to do. I *caugh* wasn't told."
"It was your fault for getting involved."
D'hurh then stopepd breathing; he was dead. Kimes fully rose and OmaCour then appeared and helped Davrel get fully suited. When they were ready they started to leave the apertement and Kimes' comlink began to buzz.
"What is it, Narlon?"
"Boss, they're back. We thought we lost them but they followed us back to the ship! We've already lost two more soldiers to his men! You have to get back! Now!"
"Narlon, who?! Who's back? Bralor?" but then the comlink went dead.
The Mandalorian soldiers then met up with the Mandalorian soldiers outside and they headed back for the Acer.

When Kimes, OmaCour, and the eltie team got back they saw the rest of the Mandos firing back at Bralor's soldiers. they were trying to hold them off so that they could leave Mandalore safely. Kimes then ordered his soldiers to enter the battle. Parts of the hangar were coming down and if they didn't bolt it soon, there'd be trouble.
"There!" yelled Kimes to OmaCour while they were running to the Acer while avoiding blaster. "See that tank there?"
"Yeah, what about it?" OmaCour yelled back.
"That's the main power genereator in this hangar. You take that out and this entire hangar will start to come down. We'll need to fire a rocket at it."
"Well we better get on the Acer."
The team then made it to the Acer where Narlon and the other group of Kimes' Mandalorian soldiers were. They grouped together and started boarding the Acer while they were being shot at.
The walkway lowered and some of the soldiers ran aboard. Kimes wouldn't board until he knew that all his men were aboard. He then noticed a Mandalorian in black beskar'gam, with gray trim, making his way through Bralor's troops to the front of the line. It was Bralor. Another one of Kimes' soldiers was then killed and Narlon ran over to help them.
"Narlon! Leave him! We have to get out of here! NOW!"
Kimes, OmaCour, Davrel, and Narlon were the last four Mandalorians remaining outside of the Acer. Kimes then yelled at the remaining soldiers.
"We have to take out that tank! If we fire a rocket there then the entire hangar should blow!"
"I'll cause a diversion!" yelled Narlon. I'll start running towards the tank you three get aboard the Acer and get out of here. I have enough energy sheilds to last me about a minute. Leave now!"
"Narlon, wait!" Kimes yelled, but Narlon was already running towards there enemy. That was always your problem, kimes thought to himself. You were always too damn loyal. Davrel, OmaCour and Kimes then boarded the Acer and Bralor thought that it was there time to act.
"Now's our chance!" yeleld Bralor. "C'mon boys, let's take that ship! I want you to kill everyone on board, but leave Kimes for ME!"
The soldiers began running for the Acer and the ship's walkway started to fold up. Narlon was almost near the tank and then threw three thermal detonators towards the tank while Kimes observed what was happening.
"Jaing, the hangar's about to blow! Get us the hell out of here!"
"Yes sir!" Jaing yelled back. The Acer lifted off from the ground and began to head out of the entrance. In a few seconds you and your boys'll be dead, Bralor, Kimes though to himself. And then finally these last three years of persuing you will finaly be over.
As the Acer started to leave the planet, the hangar exploded behind them. Kimes knew that he'd lost another one of his best soldiers, but at last his rival was dead.
**********************
Kimes had lost 15 of his men on Mandalore and he was annoyed; but he, OmaCour, and the remaining 11 Mandalorian soldiers had escaped. According to Jaing, Kimes had gotten a call from Champion Sin that said that all the Champions fo Mandalore were regrouping on Talus and they were prepearing for something big.
"Jaing, take us to Talus. They're expecting us to be there."
"You got it," Jaing replied. Jaing typed the coordinates of the Talus system into teh navi-computer and the Acer then made the jump to hyperspace. They'd left Mandalore and Kimes hoped for good.
************************
Smoke was coming from the hangar and the room was burning. The hangar was destroyed; parts of the ceiling had come down in Bralor's forces, the lights were dimed and rubble was everywhere. Narlon, along wih Bralor' and his crew lay motionless on the ground. Parts of the walls were destoryed amd one could barely fit through the entrance of the hangar. Then some of the rubble began to move and a black glove started to clear some of the rubble. A few minutes later the figure rose from the rublle and observed the casualties; he was the sole survivor. His heavy beskar'gam had saved him once again from death. If his armor had not been made from Mandalorian metal he surely would've been dead.
I should have known that kniffering jetii was going to pull a stunt like this. N'jurkad, Kimes. I'll get you, Jetii, if it's the last thing I do. You and your loyal mercs.
Draco Bralor examined his body. His left arm, along with a few of his ribs, were broken, but aside from that he hade minor injuries. He was going to need another team of Mandalorians in order to kill Kimes; there confrontation would never end. He looked around the room and saw that every single one of his men had been killed...and then his eyes locked on Narlon. None of teh rubble had landed on Narlon; he'd been killed by blaster fire and his green beskar'gam was fully intact. If Bralor had remembered correctly, Narlon and he had been the same height since the last time he saw him. This gave Bralor an idea.
************************
5.5 days later:
The Acer was preparing to enter the Talus system. Finaly, Kimes though. We'll fianly meet the other memebers of the Champions and even better: we'll get to meet Mand'alor.
